Recent Favourites #4

I have been pretty quiet on the blogging front recently and have to say I have missed it! So thought I'd share with you a few things that I have been enjoying using. Let me know if you would like any full reviews of the products listed too!

Xen-Tan - Moroccan Oil

I LOVE this tan! Great colour, long lasting and fades really well - doesn't smell too bad either. Goes on really dark - I kinda scared myself when I first slapped it on wondering what I would look like in the morning but I was happy with the colour. My only complaint is the size of the bottle 148ml just doesn't last me long enough :( I'd have much preferred a 250ml bottle like most of the other tans I have used. If you don't fake tan as regularly then this  one is well worth your money! Having said that I can not fault the product at all and would definitely buy this again!

Tom Ford Blush in Wicked £45

Ahh Tom Ford Make-up! My weak spot! I know they are super pricey but they are super pigmented and never fail to get noticed. If your thinking of buying and have a counter close then I would strongly recommend you go and try them on as they last incredibly well. I don't doubt that you won't love them too. For a bit of indulgence then go ahead :) Below is a swatch of the blusher next to MAC Chatterbox Lipstick (see below for Chatterbox) so that you can see the pigment - and I only lightly swatched the pan!! I tend to use either my Real Techniques stippling brush or my MAC 168 brush for this blusher - both pictured in the first picture.

It has such a gorgeous sheen to it and the pigment is perfect!

Simple eye make up remover £2 (bought on offer in Superdrug)

I have been using this for as long as I remember and its just a bargain and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes and manages to remove my mascara and other eye make up easily without rubbing. Although I do have to say I don't wear waterproof mascara so not sure how great it is at removing that. It is also oil free which means its safe for eyelash extension wearers to use too.

MAC Lipstick in Chatterbox £14

I have been lusting after this pink lippy for a while and finally bought it and have no idea what I was waiting for before! Its gorgeous and lasts a fair amount of time on my lips. The finish is smooth and feels slightly creamy on the lips which is a nice alternative to the matte shades I've been wearing recently. The MAC finish is Amplified Creme which happens to be one of my favourite MAC finishes :)

REN Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream £32

I got this as a sample and have been using it the past week on a night and I have to say I've been loving the results! My skin seems smoother and generally in better condition. This is something I would never have considered buying before trying as it states it is good for all skin types but I prefer to go for products aimed for combination skin. After trying it I am definitely going to think about buying it (its on my phone wish list lol) Only thing I don't like? The smell! It reminds me of pepper and I have to hold my breath when applying, however the smell goes away after a while and to be honest the pros outweigh the smell by a mile so it doesn't matter. I also love the pump on the full sized product.

So there you have a few of my fave things at the moment! What do you think? Have you tried any of these? What did you think of them?
